Don't you get tired of seeing this year after year? No, but you'd think they'd resolve to have Bono exempted from the voting already since his Irish smirk is almost always guaranteed an appearance on the list.
TIME's 100 Most Influential is upon us once again and Bono's neck and neck with the other crusading B (not you, yet, Bernice, but perhaps next year!), Barack Obama, for the top spot on the online poll. As I write this, Hewson got shoved off to #3 from #1 by Barack with the Dalai Lama wedged between them.
Now, obviously, campaign HQ has temps on hand keeping a leg up for Obama. Not a problem. I'm wondering though why Clinton's way below at #90? Her handlers not sold on this idea? But I thought perception feeds influence, or is it the other way around? (Help.)
Here's how the mad clicking looked like as of 11:10 p.m., my time:
Aren't the U2 geeks back from Spring break yet? Vote for Bono.
